Justice for Katarina

Katarina's parents Rob and Nicole have a goal to raise awareness on the lack of DUI laws in NORTH DAKOTA and bring justice for their 6-year-old daughter Katarina.

In June 2024, Katarina was killed and her mother, Nicole seriously injured in a drunk driving crash near Grand Forks International Airport in North Dakota. The family was stopped at a red light when drunk driver, rear-ended their vehicle.

The “Justice for Katarina” movement, led by her family (including a dedicated Facebook page and website), sought stronger accountability for the driver, highlighted flaws in North Dakota’s DUI laws (such as perceived leniency in sentencing), and pushed for reforms to prevent similar tragedies.
